Gunmen for Iphone
Gunmen for Iphone brings augmented reality to the iPhone. This great new app has brought a different gaming experience to the iPhone. It sort of brings back flashbacks of Lazer tag. You remember the guns that would shoot flashes of light towards your opponent and would light up and make a noise when hit. Those were good times. This was 20+ years ago so if you missed out on that experience, I apologize because it was a great one.
In a similar fashion though, this app offers a unique experience. You can play a first person shooter game in a live reality. What does this mean? This means that you can play against friends with your iphone and shoot them. If you connect the other iphone will vibrate and go off.
You might be thinking to yourself, how does this work, but it is really quite simple. You have to setup the game with the colors of your enemies. For instance if your friend was wearing a green shirt you would program that into the app. They would also have to do that as well. Once added the app would detect whether or not you connected on the shot. Not only that but there is a very cool zoom in feature that would allow you to zoom in as if you were using a sniper scope. Anything that connects within the colored area results in a kill.
Game play is pretty solid and can be played for 2 minutes, 5 minutes or unlimited minutes. You can also double check the kills to make sure that the kill number is actually correct. This removes any possibility for ambiguity.
This is definitely an application you will want to check out. Just for the uniqueness of it!
